Happy Valentine's Day

Valentine's Day was amazing this year. So many unexpected surprises. My mom sent Josh and I some homemade sugar cookies and chocolates. I practically ate the whole box in two days. Since Valentine's Day was on Tuesday we decided to celebrate on the weekend because I was busy working and Josh was busy studying for school. I definitely didn't think Josh would do anything on Tuesday since we had already talked about going on a date over the weekend. But to my surprise, he managed to outdo himself and  surprised me with chocolate covered strawberries and a nice card. In the card was a confirmation to the Scottsdale Resort. I was super stoked to finally have a night to hang out with my hubby. So we started our date on Friday by doing a little shopping and then eating at one of our favorite pizza joints, Grimaldi's Pizza. After dinner we explored the resort. It was decorated with a Spanish flare and was so cute. After our much needed getaway Josh and I grabbed some Pane Bianco for lunch. If you haven't heard of it, you definitely need to check it out. After lunch we went and saw "The Vow." I'd heard mixed reviews but to my surprise it was actually really good. We both loved it! Now back to reality. Josh has another round of tests coming up and I'm staying busy with work. :(
