Weeks Five and Six

Vera is such a smiley baby. She has been smiling since she was born and her personality is coming out more each day. Vera smiles in response to our smiles and is cooing a lot. She is starting to grab onto things and loves to open and close her hands. She also loves sucking her thumb and her binkie.

Smiling at Grandma Prestwich.

Smiling/sticking her tongue out at the same time. One of her new faces.

Double chin and dimple. I'm so in love!

Making faces at daddy.

Such a good sport in her carseat. She hates getting into her carseat but is getting used to it now that we are out and about all the time.

Smiles all the time in her sleep. Love my cuddle bug.

Such a sweetheart.

Walked in during Vera's nap and found that she had moved her bow over her eyes. I guess she learned early on that an eye mask helps her sleep better. haha

Vera and aunt Jenny at Angela's wedding shower.

Can't get enough!

Love her.

Vera is often found looking like this when she's sleeping. I always joke that she's playing the piano in her dreams. Who knows, maybe she'll be a pianist. I'm hoping for a violinist though. :)

Vera's new thing is blowing spit bubbles. She's constantly doing this and it cracks me up.
