I got to celebrate my first Mother's Day this year. I've never been happier than the day I became a mother. I feel so blessed that my sweet little Vera Jade chose me to be her mother. She has brought so much joy to my life and I love her more than I ever thought I could. She has such a sweet spirit and the most adorable personality. She makes me laugh constantly and is keeping me very busy.
Josh spoiled me on Mother's Day. He made the most delicious breakfast from scratch. He made buttermilk pancakes, buttermilk syrup, and crispy bacon. He let me take a LONG nap which was much needed. Then he surprised me with a little card from Vera Jade and gave me a basket from William Sonoma that I've been eyeing for quite some time now. The day was absolutely perfect.
